Set in post-war Italy, and part of the Italian New Wave Cinema, the film captures the struggles of a working-class father and son as they search for their stolen bicycle. Without the bicycle, the father will lose his job and impoverish the family. Great performances from Lamberto Maggiordani & Enzo Staiola.
